Erin was fortunate enough to have met Carte Blanche founder Nicholas Allen nearly two decades ago. As the brand’s Director of Communications, Erin oversees content, communications, and public relations. During her six years a member of our team, her passion for wine, viticulture, and the connection that wine brings to family and friends has been greatly, and gratefully, fostered.
Based in Aspen, Colo., Erin’s story is simple. She’s a 20-year Aspenite who is fortunate to have discovered Aspen’s slopes, culture, and community. Her career started at the Aspen Daily News as a fledgling music writer who accidentally hung up on Ray Charles during her first major interview. She’s since covered a range of subjects, from celebrities and CEOs to pro athletes and politicians. She worked as an account director at Promo Communications, during which she traveled the globe handling international public relations for adventure and lifestyle clients. She was the Editor in Chief of Aspen Peak magazine for seven years. She currently owns TAG Media a boutique publishing and marketing firm, with Karrie Sims, Carte Blanche’s Creative Director. TAG creates custom publications, writes clever content, and handles marketing and public relations for various clients.
Erin writes for travel, lifestyle and wellness publications, including Town & Country and Robb Report Health + Wellness, blogs for the Huffington Post, and is a co-host on Aspen 82’s live broadcast, The Lift. She was on the board of Roaring Fork Leadership, and currently serves on the board of Aspen Words. When she’s not working with words, you’ll find her traveling (wine tasting often involved), or on Aspen’s slopes and trails with her son, Bode.
